Loving someone with extreme emotions can be exhausting and lonely.
We understand, we’re here to help.
At the Middle Path Community, it is our mission to support parents who have a child or teen who experiences extreme emotional and behavioral challenges. We know that when one family member suffers, the whole family suffers. This often creates an unhealthy, chaotic environment for all family members.

Our community provides resources and teaches specific skills that help de-escalate situations so parents can be more effective with their child. The Middle Path Community provides an outlet for parents to share stories and challenges with other parents whose children have similar struggles. They learn that their child’s behavior is not a result of bad parenting or neglect as many often perceive. Parents discover they are not alone and that there is hope for their family.

If you need immediate assistance, or if you and your family are in crisis, please contact a qualified mental health provider in your area, contact your statewide crisis hotline, call 911, or take your child to your local emergency room.
